SKYWAY HIGH ROPES COURSE SERIES |

Participants ascend by the cargo net, pole climb or rope ladder, they cross a variety of elements. Easier elements for beginners are on the bottom while more challenging elements are on top. Participants may be using static (self) belay system, tether system, or dynamic belay. This allows for maximum participation for all ages, abilities, and populations. Each pole features climbing holds, staples and several clip in points allowing participants to move from one level to another while keeping safe. The continuous dynamic belay cables provide access for everyone! |

The 6 - 12 element high ropes course is designed to be versatile, safe, and an effective teambuilding and leadership development tool. The course features both dynamic and static belay options, which challenge participants in a variety of ways. Participants can work individually to overcome personal issues or work in tandem to improve social skills. Up to 5 zip lines can be included.
This course incorporates elements that have proven successful and construction techniques that allow staff maximum flexibility in dealing with a variety of specific program goals and populations. |

This course will be built using galvanized or stainless steel cable, clamps, and hardware to assure longevity and safety. ½” cable will be used for the double belay cables which will allow up to 4 participants on dynamic belay in addition to 12 climbers on static belay. Each element can be completed as an individual or tandem event requiring two people to work together to overcome the challenge.
Participants with disabilities can lift themselves via mechanical advantage or by their peers to a swing chair suspended from one of the belay cables allowing them to work through the entire course using their hands or assistance from other peers. |

Elements average 15' - 20' in length. Many elements can be interchanged or modified to change the difficulty for a variety of ages and abilities.
